Jim Silva Receives High Marks From Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association

Assemblyman Jim Silva (R-Huntington Beach) received an “A” grade from the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association on its annual legislative scorecard.
His 98 percent score was the highest score of any Orange County legislator. “I am proud to have been recognized by such an important taxpayer organization,” said Silva.
“In Sacramento, protecting the taxpayer has to be job number one.” The Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association is dedicated to the protection of Proposition 13 and the advancement of taxpayers' rights, including the right to limited taxation, the right to vote on tax increases and the right of economical, equitable and efficient use of taxpayer dollars.
“We want to thank Assemblyman Silva. His votes show that he is a strong taxpayer advocate,” said HJTA President Jon Coupal.
